We do one thing: make ServiceNow® work when you run it yourself
Not process consulting. Not ITSM implementation. The platform underneath — architecture, infrastructure, migration, upgrades, performance and operations, for Private Stack and self-hosted deployments.
Why not a systems integrator: you get the engineer who does the work directly, not an account manager relaying to one. No bench of juniors billed at senior rates, no permanent overhead to recover through your invoice. When a project needs more hands or a specific specialism, we bring in a vetted independent specialist for that engagement — not a standing team we need to keep utilised.
Start here: fixed-price assessments
Every long engagement we have starts with a short one. These are fixed scope, fixed price, and you keep the deliverable whatever you decide afterwards. Exact figures are in our rate card — request it and we'll walk through what applies to your situation.
Private Stack is ServiceNow's current name for the deployment model you may still know as self-hosted or on-premise. Same platform, same work.
Private Stack Design Assessment
This is you if: you've decided to run ServiceNow on your own infrastructure and are starting from a blank slate — no existing instance, nothing to migrate, just a new deployment to get right the first time.
For: organisations building a new Private Stack deployment from scratch, usually under a new sovereignty or regulatory mandate.
You get: target architecture, hardware and VM sizing, network topology, database recommendation, licence and effort estimate, five-year cost model, risk register, phased build roadmap.
Further reading: our Private Stack Implementation Study covers the six phases this assessment is built around, and where each one typically goes wrong.
Private Stack Migration Assessment
This is you if: you're running ServiceNow in the cloud today and moving to Private Stack — and need to know not just the target architecture, but what your existing customisations and configuration actually mean for the move.
For: organisations moving an existing cloud instance to Private Stack, usually under a new sovereignty or regulatory mandate.
You get: target architecture, hardware and VM sizing, network topology, database recommendation, an audit of current customisations and configuration and what they mean for the migration, licence and effort estimate, five-year cost model, risk register, phased migration roadmap.
The architecture is rarely what makes a migration late. What you've built on top of it usually is.
Private Stack Operations Assessment
This is you if: you run it self-hosted day to day, but keeping it running takes more manual effort, more overtime and more tribal knowledge than it should — and you're not sure if that's normal.
For: teams running Private Stack or self-hosted ServiceNow who are short on the operational know-how, procedures or monitoring coverage to run it sustainably. Not a platform problem — a people-and-process one.
You get: operational maturity review (procedures, runbooks, responsibilities), monitoring coverage gap analysis, patch and maintenance cadence review, backup and DR readiness check, prioritised remediation plan with effort estimates.
If the platform runs fine but keeping it that way eats every weekend, the problem usually isn't the platform.
Private Stack Health Assessment
This is you if: operations are fine — procedures, monitoring, staffing, all of it — but the platform itself has gotten slow, and nobody can say exactly why.
For: existing Private Stack or self-hosted customers whose platform has degraded, whose upgrades overrun, or who have fallen behind the supported release families. A technical problem, not an organisational one.
You get: performance findings at platform and database level, upgrade window analysis, capacity and configuration drift review, prioritised remediation plan with effort estimates.
If your upgrade takes longer than your maintenance window, the cause is usually a small number of specific things. We will find yours and tell you what it takes to fix them.
Ongoing work
Architecture and design
Load balancer, application and database tiers. High availability, replication topology, MID server placement, disaster recovery. Designs that survive contact with a real production load.
Migration
In every direction, and this matters: cloud to Private Stack, Private Stack to cloud, and between hosting providers. From small non-production instances to mission-critical environments holding terabytes. Because we do not sell hosting, we have no stake in which direction you go.
Upgrades and release management
Planning, rehearsal, automation and execution — including for air-gapped environments, where ServiceNow's automated upgrade path is not available.
Operations and support
Monitoring, patching, cloning, routine maintenance, incident response. Long term, under an agreed SLA. This is the work we are actually built for. Installation was never the goal.
Performance and troubleshooting
Deep analysis when something is wrong and the obvious answers have been exhausted. Database tuning, instance-level diagnosis, infrastructure remediation.
Infrastructure automation
Red Hat® Virtualization and KVM. Complete environments from templates — load balancers, application nodes, replicated database servers, MID servers — deployed repeatably rather than by hand.
Training and knowledge transfer
For your operations team, so that dependency on us decreases over time. We would rather have a customer for ten years than a hostage for two.
How we work with partners
If you are a hosting provider, a sovereign cloud operator, an MSP or a systems integrator, we work behind your brand.
We do not sell hosting, hardware or licences, and we do not approach your customers. There is no route by which we become a competitor.
Service levels
Every engagement has response times, coverage hours and a named escalation path defined in writing before work starts — matched to what that engagement actually needs, not a one-size-fits-all number on a brochure. Our baseline commitments are available on request — ask and we'll send them over.
