About us
More than a decade with ServiceNow® under our own control
We started with the ServiceNow® platform before the first Aspen release. From the beginning, what interested us was not the application layer but everything underneath it — the architecture, the infrastructure, the database, the things that determine whether a platform runs well or merely runs.
Since then we have been involved in every stage of the self-hosted journey: drafting architecture, planning infrastructure, installation and setup, onboarding, troubleshooting, performance tuning and deep analysis.
For us, installation has never been the end goal. It is only the starting point. What matters is supporting the entire lifecycle of the platform and making sure it keeps delivering value in year five as well as year one.
In 2026 ServiceNow® renamed this deployment model Private Stack. The name changed. The work did not.
What we actually are
An independent engineering practice. Not a hosting provider, not a reseller, not a systems integrator with a self-hosted side-line.
We do not sell infrastructure, hardware or licences. That means we have no financial stake in your deployment model, and we will tell you when cloud is the better answer — which it often is.
We are small and deliberately specialised — a core engineer backed by a bench of four to five vetted independent specialists, engaged project by project when scope, timeline, or a specific specialism (security, database, GPU sizing) calls for it. Each works under their own registration, invoiced directly, not employed. If you need ITSM process consulting or a CSM implementation, there are hundreds of excellent partners for that and we are not one of them. If you need someone who has migrated a four-terabyte instance between providers without losing a weekend, that is a much shorter list.
Being small by design, not by accident, is worth saying outright: it is what lets you skip the account-management and project-management layers a systems integrator has to bill for. You get the engineer who does the work directly.
Who you work with
Radim Tichý — Principal Consultant. Three decades in IT — from ERP systems to industrial automation and testing — including 14 years with ServiceNow® self-hosted, since the Aspen release. Specialisms: self-hosted architecture, migration and performance — including hands-on work alongside ServiceNow's own implementation teams and Professional Services on live engagements, plus ongoing contact with ServiceNow's internal self-hosted engineering community. LinkedIn.
You work directly with one person, not a rotating cast of account managers and juniors. For engagements that need more hands or a specific specialism, a wider community of independent self-hosted specialists is available — see Continuity below.

Continuity
We are a small practice working on systems that matter. It is reasonable to ask what happens if a key person is unavailable, and we would rather answer it before you have to ask.
- Every engagement has a named lead engineer and a named backup
- Runbooks and documentation are delivered to you, not retained by us
- Handover terms are written into every contract
- A bench of vetted independent specialists is engaged for surge capacity, concurrent engagements, or coverage during absence — each contract names a lead engineer and a specific backup drawn from this bench
